SEC committee passes resolution on tagging

The SEC's Investor Advisory Committee passed a set of resolutions encouraging tagging of corporate filings.

Resolution 3 suggests that the commission prioritize key corporate governance documents: executive compensation disclosures, N-PX forms (in which mutual funds disclose their annual voting records), and proxy voting results.

The commission still has to actually implement these suggestions, but this is a start -- albeit absurdly delayed.
